Unrepentant Confessed Pedophile Gets Two Year Minimum Sentence on 48 Counts
This is not a political or religious article, this is about
protecting our children. As with any civilized society, IT IS OUR DUTY TO
PROTECT CHILDREN by any and all means necessary. Now rather than resorting to vigilante justice when egregious, heinous crimes are committed, we rely on the judicial
system to properly handle these monsters and protect society.
Before I get into this atrocious act of injustice, I just want to give you an
idea of the rate of recidivism concerning pedophiles. While most judges do what is just and order these monsters to lengthy prison sentences, others believe in
second, third, and fourth chances. THESE STATISTICS ONLY INCLUDE PEDOPHILES DEEMED “SAFE AND READY TO RETURN TO SOCIETY”. If ALL pedophiles were given
sentences and paroles such as petty crimes offences, I would be willing to bet that the percentage of pedophiles that re-offend
would be in the 90’s. But as it stands, according to a Prentky,
Lee, Knight, and Cerce 1997 study over a 25-year period found that 52% of child pedophiles were rearrested, with
40% of them arrests for similar sex offences. A 2004 study showed a
slightly lower 45.6% of the pedophiles they studied were rearrested, with 22.8%
of the pedophiles they followed rearrested for a non-violent sex offense, and
33.9% were rearrested for violent crimes, including murder and violent sex crimes. As high as these
numbers are, most believe these numbers are the low-end of the percentages. The
National Crime Victimization Surveys (Bureau of Justice Statistics) indicate
that only 1 out of 3, or 32% of sexual
assaults against persons 12 or older are reported to law enforcement. And in a
three-year longitudinal study of 4,008 women, 84% percent of rape victims did
not report the crime. While no current studies indicate the rate of reporting for
child sexual assault, it is generally assumed that these assaults are
equally underreported. Many victims are afraid to report sexual assault. The
bottom line is while many think they can rehabilitate pedophiles; the truth is that pedophiles simply learn ways to hide their sick actions. Therapy sure…castration therapy, chemically or literally, may deter them, but they still
have hands and sick, twisted minds.
Which leads me to this scum
pedophile, 27 year old Andrew Goodman. As I have stated before, I hate
referring to these offenders by name, but with this sicko possibly being free in two months, NY WATCH OUT! Be alert
for that name. Let me tell you the story of this unrepentant, shameless, sorry
excuse of a human for those of you that do not know this terrible story. This pedophile Andrew Goodman was a
counselor at OHEL, a famous nonprofit foundation which works with both at-risk kids and disabled
adults. In June 2009, he started as a caregiver in a group home for
mentally and physically disabled adults. His job was "helping"
residents go to the bathroom, change clothes and shower. This would normally be
an exemplary resume showing great human compassion. This also explains why
members in this small Orthodox Jewish community did not see this coming.
He was arrested on June 25, 2010 and charged with 144 felony counts of
molesting, filming, and threatening young boys in the neighborhood. There are so
many misdemeanors listed but not mentioned in any other articles. (read his list of charges ) He began “grooming”
boys as young as 11, and according to court documents, Goodman held
booze-fueled parties in his home while screening child porn. He also threatened
the lives of boys who reported him to authorities. Court papers showed
there was videotape evidence of a total 11 underage boys coming and going from
his home.
On June 27, 2010 his $10,000 bond was posted and he was free to
torture again, and that is exactly what happened.
Shomrim, a volunteer patrol group, captured very disturbing surveillance
video that shows teens, aged 15-16, entering and leaving the house between 3
a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Video even shows him shuffling boys in and out of the house
himself. When judge Patricia DiMango heard of this unbelievable disaster, she
set the pervert's bond to 1 million dollars. Finally, common sense is taking over
right?? NO, the decision was made not to add any additional charges even after
the new video evidence because the teens would not talk. The pedophile's defense
lawyer, Izzy Fried is on record saying such outrageously stupid comments as
"There was no force and no one was held against their will." (speaking
of 13 and 14 year old children), "The victims are troubled kids who do
not have a good home, which Goodman provided for them," and "He was a safe
haven."
After admitting to subjecting
two boys to oral and anal sex over four years, starting when they were 12 and
13 years old, Goodman was given a plea deal from the presiding Judge Martin
Murphy, not the prosecution whose plea deal was plead guilty to 48 counts and
receive seven years for each count, which would have assured the public that this fiend would
never have a chance to ruin another child’s life. But Judge Martin Murphy had
other thoughts; the Judge's absolutely insane plea deal was the pervert pleads guilty to 48 counts of criminal sexual conduct (3 more counts than Jerry
Sandusky) and in return he receives-Imprisonment
for 2 Years minus time served.

That’s right with time served he is set to be released in early
September 2012!!!
Rabbi Shea Hecht, a well known
and respected community activist, wrote that he has met with other victims of
Goodman that have decided to not come forward due to fear and shame.
On July 12, 2010 during
sentencing Judge Martin Murphy was slapped with the brutal truth about the
devil he was about to release. One of the victims courageously took the mic for
the victim statement stage of the hearing and while his body shook with terror
he said, “Letting this man go is a very grave mistake, I have no doubt he'll try
to do the same thing to other children once he gets out.” The brave young man
now 17 continued to explain how this neighbor earned his trust, showering him
with gifts and outings, then breaking the bond between him and his parents and
finally pressuring him into having sex. He described how this villian would
control him and emotionally abuse him when he wouldn’t participate in sex acts.
The teen concluded with, "You are the worst thing that ever happened to me, you are the devil
disguised as a human." When he addressed the Judge, he said, "This is
a very dangerous man, not only because of the crimes he committed, but also
because he has no remorse."
The victim's mother then pleaded
to the judge "Please use your position to protect our children".
When given his chance to speak to the court, Goodman showed his
lack of remorse as he spoke. He turned as he rose and stated to the victim, "I did and
still do to this day love you. I fell in love with you, and I wish I never
allowed my sexual desires to get in the way of what I valued more, which is
your friendship." He then proceeded to explain to the court how
there was no malice in his relationship and the boy was his best friend,
clearly seeing nothing wrong with what he did.
When it came time for the Judge
to pass down the sentence he scolded Goodman, “You caused a lot of pain to all
the complainants, the statements that you made today are ill-advised to say the
least." And just when you thought Judge Martin Murphy had came to his
senses, and because of blatantly unremorseful comments he was going to pull the
plea offer off of the table…WRONG.
Judge Martin Murphy gift wrapped the minimum sentence and gave this horrible
pedophile 2 years with credit to time served, in essence giving him a 2-month
sentence, and freeing him to ruin more lives starting in September.
The prosecutor strongly
objected and called the plea "woefully low." Brooklyn District
Attorney Charles Hynes was quoted as saying, “the sentence defies logic and is
frankly inexplicable." Judge Martin Murphy has not explained his decisions at all, has avoided
commenting on this heinous sentence, and has followed through with the plea
deal. Pressure is being applied by
Assemblyman Steven Cymbrowitz, who sent a letter to the judge a day before the
sentencing hearing demanding a tougher sentence. He wrote, “When you impose punishment for Andrew
Goodman’s unspeakable crimes, you have the opportunity to send a clear
message not just to the defendant but to his victims, their families and
the entire community, Your judgment can provide some degree of closure to
this terrible episode, or it can leave a raw, open wound from which the
victims may never heal. Your judgment can demonstrate an unshakable
commitment to protect the rights of victims, especially the most
vulnerable, or it can extend mercy to an offender whose heinous acts are, frankly, beyond
our comprehension.”
It would appear the Judge did not care
about public perception or future victims.
I have a proposition for you, Judge Martin Murphy, since this monster is no harm, how about he comes to stay at
your house when he gets out? I am sure your wife and two kids would love to
meet the pedophile and hear some of his “love” stories. He can pass out
candy for Halloween at your house to your neighborhood kids. Maybe he takes a
liking to one of those neighbor boys, or worse yet, what if it was one of your
kids?
Aftermath
This atrocity leaves
us, as a society, with two distinct jobs, and you can do you part.
1. We need to stay on
officials to not let this pedophile out. NY recently passed a law allowing the
civil commitment of sex offenders because they are deemed by a court to be a
danger to themselves or to society.
2. Let the powers in charge know that judgments such as
this are not acceptable in any way. This is not the first time that Judge
Martin Murphy has completely blindsided the public with his bizarre judgments
and IT IS CLEAR THAT JUDGE MARTIN MURPHY IS NOT FIT TO BE ON THE BENCH. NY
judges are appointed to 10-year terms, so it is up to Honorable Jonathan
Lippman to limit his workload, or better yet, place this incompetent judge on
administrative duty.

and the judges of the court of appeals.

Aurora Tragedy
What is perfectly clear about this Aurora tragedy is that this man is a coward, why drug him up that bad? and furthermore that hair is the Riddler not the Joker, did this genius even know batman at all?
This PHD student failed to get into the neuroscience program and at some-point decided he decided he wasn't going to be a world known scientist as his Monster resume stated, but known for being a crazy mass murder. This coward is smart enough to die his hair to start a "insanity claim", cover every body part he could with armor, attempt to have both horrors go off at the same time with the timing of the loud techno music and the door unlocked along with the timing of the movie. THANK GOD THE NEIGHBOR DID NOT ENTER THE ROOM AS I BELIEVE HE HAD PLANNED. If the apt. bombs were meant strictly for the police the door would of been locked. The fact that the door was unlocked means the bomb was for anyone that had the gall to go in the room and try to tell him to turn the music down. This coward timed to shooting scene to optimize the element of surprise. THANK GOD HIS GUN JAMMED SAVING LIVES. I do wonder at what point does he realize the other half of his horror FAILED????

With Aurora being only 20 miles from the Columbine tragedy 13 years ago, one has to wonder what role that tragedy had in this twisted mind of his. Being only 11 when the other cowards did what they did, and even the media back then was all about the killers. To the twisted mind all this coverage, whys and replays of terror is construed as maniacal fame.
I will not ever mention the coward by name as I feel he will get no fame from me. I think when tragedies like this happen we should not give these minds out there ANY FAME at all. As heartless as it sounds we just need to move on . The story shouldn't be the tragedy but the victims, heroes and aftermath. As I read on another blog, us a a nation freak over any random act of violence could you imagine what living over-seas is like with events as horrific as this happen everyday.
He should NOT be drugged at all, what is the worst that he could do? Put a muzzle on him if he has outbursts. but drugging him like that portrays him as "crazy" on video. IF THE PROSECUTION DOES NOT RECEIVE A DEATH PENALTY CONVICTION, THEY FAILED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. In Colorado capital punishment requires "First-degree murder with at least 1 of 17 aggravating factors", I counted four indisputable aggravating factors......
